A Bridgewater community center opens a fall tournament

The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center in New Jersey has posted registration for a full-day October tournament.

The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center in Bridgewater, New Jersey, will host a mah jongg tournament on Sunday, October 18, with doors at 8:45 a.m. and play beginning at 9:30 a.m. The listing appears on the Bridgewater Patch community calendar.

The day runs seven rounds with prizes, described by the hosts as a full day of friendly competition, strategy, and community spirit. Entry is $65 for center members and $70 for community members, which includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments, with registration through the center's website.
