One Seguin senior center books two fall tournaments

A Texas tournament listing has the Silver Center hosting a September date for a women's advocacy club and a November date for a first responder foundation.

A Texas tournament listing carries two fall dates at the Silver Center, 510 E Court Street in Seguin. September 23 is listed as benefiting the Zonta Club of Seguin, described in the listing as a women's advocacy organization, with entry at $90. Registration for that date opened July 15.

November 10 is listed at the same venue and the same $90 entry, benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The listing gives breakfast at 8:30 a.m., play beginning at 9:15 a.m., and registration opening October 1.

Both dates register by email through the organizer rather than through a ticket page, and neither entry publishes a field size. The same listing shows the Silver Center hosting a July date earlier this summer, so this room is running tournaments on a repeating basis rather than once a year.

Prim's suggestion, not a rule: when a listing gives an email and no seat count, ask early. A room that fills quietly never posts a sellout notice.
